How to buy a baby monitor in Australia
A monitor is the rare nursery buy where the identical unit is on the shelf at several shops at once, at prices that genuinely differ. 39 of the monitors we track are sold by two or more retailers, and the widest gap in the baby monitors tracker right now is $250: the Owlet Monitor DUO 2 sits $349 at its cheapest stockist and $599 at its dearest. The falls here are occasional and large rather than small and constant. Across the 12 price drops we have recorded and then re-checked, the typical fall is $130 and the largest is $200. On a purchase this size, catching one is worth the wait.
