How to buy baby and mum gifts in Australia
Most of the gifts we track are sold by one shop, which is exactly why the ones that are not are worth a second look. 31 of them are sold by two or more retailers. Checking that spread before you buy is the whole point of this page.
Most gift falls are a few dollars, on a newborn gift box, a cuddle cloth set or a toy gift kit. Across the 13 price drops we have recorded and then re-checked, the typical fall is $5 and the largest is $10. Catching one before the occasion is where the savings add up.
A was-price is the retailer’s own claim about its own pricing, so we always say whose it is, and we never rank a page by discount. Every price here carries the date we checked it, because a dated price is honest and a “live” price we cannot guarantee is not.
