Affiliate disclosure
The short version: mum.com.au is free to read and reader-supported. When you click some of our links and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. It never affects which products we recommend or how we rank them.
How affiliate links work
Some of the “Check price”, “Read review” and product links on mum.com.au are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to buy something, the retailer may pay us a small percentage of the sale. You pay exactly the same price you would have anyway; the commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not your pocket.
It never affects our rankings
This is the important part. Our recommendations and rankings are based on independent research into safety, value and suitability, never on whether a retailer pays us a commission, or how much. A product we earn nothing from can absolutely out-rank one we do. You can read exactly how we make our picks on our how we choose page.
Brands don’t pay for placement
No brand can pay to appear on mum.com.au, to rank higher, or to receive a “mum. Approved” badge. We don’t publish sponsored “reviews” dressed up as editorial. If that ever changes for a specific piece of content, we’ll label it clearly.
Prices are in AUD, indicative only: always check at the retailer
Prices shown on mum.com.au are in Australian dollars, are indicative only, and can change quickly. A price here may be out of date, or different from what a retailer is charging when you visit. Where we can verify a current live price we show it; otherwise we show an approximate RRP, which is our editorial estimate and not a quote. Always confirm the final price on the retailer’s own website before you buy: the retailer’s checkout price is the one that applies.
